CHRISTMAS came early for the children at Rossett House preschool nursery this week – thanks to award-winning manager Rachel Davies.
Rachel, 32, from Cefn Mawr, has just been named Nursery Carer of the Year.
Her prize, sponsored by the National Day Nurseries Association, included a delivery of £250 worth of toys and play equipment for her young friends at Rossett House.
“The best part of the prize has been watching the children unpack the boxes of toys,” said Rachel, who joined the nursery in Llay Road, Rossett, nine years ago and became joint manager in 2004.
