YALE College’s Rendezvous Restaurant was officially opened by TV celebrity Melissa Porter.
Melissa, one of television’s most sought after property and lifestyle experts, tasted the dishes from a cookery demonstration supervised by Wayne Hatenboer, hospitality and catering lecturer and watched by local business guests together with governors and staff at Yale College.
Melissa spent time talking to students and staff before heading off for her talk on property investment at the Ramada for Wrexham Business Week.
Under the management of Mark Parsons, formerly head chef of the Corn Mill in Llangollen, the new restaurant at Yale College’s town centre campus invites the public to book a meal, or come to the exciting events planned.
“Melissa opening our Rendezvous Restaurant is the beginning of a new chapter in the successful story of Yale College’s catering department,” said Mark Parsons, catering and retail manager at the college.
