BANGOR City, who have climbed the table to seventh spot to shadow the title contenders, hope for a happy and prosperous Christmas period, starting today.
Having been held 2-2 at Newtown on the season’s opening day, Nev Powell’s maturing team – boasting only one defeat in 16 games – aim to go one better in the Farrar Road return.
Manager Powell said: “We have an important month coming up, with a series of fixtures against teams around the mid-table and, while all of them will be difficult, all will be winnable.
“Having done so well recently, we want now to keep the momentum going and then see what the new year will bring.
“When last Saturday’s game at Neath was called off, we were annoyed at the time
“But we appreciated the rest and now the lads are raring to get going again.”
Centre-back Lee Webber, who was stretchered off in City’s 2-2 derby with Llangefni, has recovered from having eight stitches in a gashed shin and will play.
But Dave Swanick starts a four-match ban.
