POLICE have issued a warning about the loss of an insulin pen which they say could be extremely harmful if used by a non-diabetic.
A member of the public dropped the medical equipment, which is similar to a marker pen, as they got out of a car in Exeter Road, Ellesmere Port at 12pm on Tuesday.
The 5ins metal pen contained a 3/4 full vial of Novarapid fast-acting insulin with a 5ml needle. It was kept in a black case with two other needles.
When used it lowers the sugar levels and could send a non-diabetic into a coma.
If you find the insulin pen or have any information contact police on 0845 458 0000.
