RESIDENTS in the Grange area of Ellesmere Port are once again being urged to meet their local police.
PCSO Matt Fullagar will be hosting surgeries tomorrow at Acorns Primary Early Learning Centre in Regent Street between 1-3pm and Thelwall Road Community Centre between 7-9pm.
He said: “The programme of surgeries has been running for a while now and although there was a good response initially I am starting to see the number of people attending drop off somewhat.
“This may be because the action taken by Ellesmere Port and Neston Neighbourhood Policing Unit is having an effect and is genuinely addressing issues raised.
“However, I am sure there are still some concerns that have yet to be raised and I would like as many people as possible to attend the surgeries to tell me about these problems.
“We are committed to making people in all areas of Ellesmere Port safer and feel safer, but we can only do this if we are fully aware of all the problems.
“The NPU is seeing success in reducing crime and disorder and for this to continue we need to work with local residents to make sure as many concerns as possible are addressed.
“We can only put effective plans in place if we have a true picture of what is happening in the area.”
The surgeries for the Grange area take place on the last Thursday of each month.
