TWO injured soldiers have received awards for their work with a Wrexham disability group.
Kevin Kilvert and Kyle Williams have been presented with service awards by PHAB, the Physically Disabled and Able-Bodied club.
Kyle was injured serving in Iraq with the Medical Corps.
He went to assist a
wounded soldier and was shot in the back, an injury which also affected his sight.
He was sent home and spoke to Kevin Kilvert, who suffered a head injury while with the Welsh Guards here in the UK.
Kevin's dad is a driver for Wrexham PHAB and the two of them decided to donate some time, while they recovered, to helping
They took members to football matches and spent time helping them.
So grateful were the group Kevin and Kyle were invited to the House of Lords to receive awards marking their contribution from PHAB chairman and Radio 2 host Ed Stewart, actress Prunella Scales and Lord Morris of Manchester.
