TWO couples from Ellesmere Port began 2013 with the best present of all – a bouncing new baby.

Jon and Samantha Devonport, of Great Sutton, celebrated the new year with their own little bundle of joy in the form of baby son Noah, who was born at 11.40pm on New Year’s Eve weighing a healthy 7lb 4oz.

Filip Horsky and Anna Vraniakova, of Ellesmere Port, originally from Slovakia, were overjoyed when their baby girl Sophia was born at 8.51am on New Year’s Day, weighing 7lb 4oz.
