A CHRISTMAS late night shopping event is taking shape in Neston with an array of festive entertainment on offer and unprecedented support from town centre shops.
As part of the Neston Christmas Festival 2009, businesses will be staying open until 8pm on the night of Friday, December 4, giving customers the opportunity to shop for presents and to collect entry vouchers for a prize draw to win a laptop computer.
During the evening there will also be an exciting family-oriented programme of entertainment, including the official switch-on of Neston’s Christmas lights by the deputy chairman of the town council, Cllr Mike Wellman.
Neston’s children’s and youth choirs are performing at The Cross and outside the parish church, Santa will be on his sleigh and in an enchanting grotto in the town centre, and there will be street entertainers on show.
There will also be a festive ice sculpture to admire in the High Street.
