STEPHEN O’Brien, MP for Eddisbury, launched the NeuroMuscular Centre’s new Home Study and Home Working Project.

This is a unique initiative designed to provide access to education and employment for people with muscle disease.

Funding for this project has been provided by Bank of America and the Morgan Foundation.

The launch event, held at the NeuroMuscular Centre, Winsford, saw students discussing their experiences and hopes for the project along with an example of a live tutorial via webcam.

Mr O’Brien said: “The NeuroMuscular Centre is the only centre in the UK which provides training, treatment and employment for people with muscle disease. I am very proud of all that happens and is achieved here – by both the staff and the centre’s users.”
