IDEAS on how to improve luncheon clubs in Wrexham will be discussed in an open meeting on Monday.
Anyone involved with luncheon clubs, thinking of setting up a club, or individuals who provide drinks and biscuits, are all invited to attend the event, hosted by Social Services at the Memorial Centre, Quarry Road, Brynteg, between 10.30am and noon.
The event will be an opportunity for people to share ideas on bringing vulnerable people together for a meal and a chat in their local community. As well as a meal, the group may have guest speakers, play games, do exercises and craft activities, go on trips or just chat.
