A TEENAGER accused of stealing hi-spec bicycles valued at £6,000 from a recent British Superbikes meeting at Oulton Park will appear before magistrates next month.

Jordon Brophy is charged with six counts of theft – plus a criminal damage offence after he allegedly damage his cell door following his arrest.

The six pedal cycles, valued at about £1,000 each, were taken from the circuit in Little Budworth on Sunday, last week.

Brophy, 18, of Penmann Crescent, Liverpool, was released on bail until June 4 when he is due to appear at Northwich Magistrates Court.
