DAREDEVIL motorcyclist Jason Rennie has broken another world record.
Llangollen rider Jason, 34, was aiming to jump 170ft indoors at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff - breaking his own record of 160ft.
His jump was launched from a mud jump at the Maxxis British Supercross Championship and he was supported by a contingent of fans from Wrexham, including Red Dragons young motocross team member Thomas Firman who, aged just eight, is already climbing the ranks of motocross riders.
Jason and Thomas have their bikes serviced by the same mechanic, Jim McBain, and Thomas cites Jason as his inspiration in the sport.
Unusually for Jason, who has set records for jumping over JCBs, lorries and cars, he didn't hit his target this time. But although he was eight feet short, he set a new world record of 162ft.
