DETECTIVES are hunting two teenagers who attacked a man in Whitby Park.

The victim was walking in the park at 8.20pm on Friday, June 29, when he was chased by the  two men, who were believed to be white and aged between 15 and 16.

He was tripped by one of the men then assaulted by both.

The victim sustained a fractured right thumb in the attack and received hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.

One of the attackers was wearing a red hoodie and black trousers while the other was wearing a black hood.

Cheshire police ask that anyone with information to call them on 101, quoting incident number 1051 of the June 29.
