WEAVER Vale Housing Trust staff have appeared in an ID parade with a difference.
Officers working in the community lined up with others in the public eye for a ‘usual suspects’ photograph included in a Trust newsletter.
The idea is to make their faces more easily recognisable by Trust tenants, says neighbourhood development officer Michael Howarth.
Staff, including neighbourhood development officers, tenancy managers, Police Community Support Officers, Vale Royal Council’s street-scene awareness officers, police community action team officers and community safety wardens, all stepped up to get their ‘mug shots’ done.
Mr Howarth said: “We were concerned to hear lots of our customers were unsure who many of the people working in their community are and what they do.
“Our customers tell us it is nice to put a face to a name and we thought this was an unusual and eye-catching way of letting people know who’s who.
“We want all our customers to feel they can approach us if they are having any problems or need help and advice.”
