THE Our Place team is continuing to work with the Community Safety Team and partners to ensure that all reported incidents of anti-social behaviour are dealt with effectively and efficiently, whenever possible.

The team has attended many events to promote this work and encourage individuals and groups to no longer suffer in silence, because there is now help at the end of a telephone line and many incidents, if reported, can be resolved quickly. But in order to tackle the problems, the team must know about them.

The Community Wardens are becoming involved in wide ranging issues that not only improve the area in which you live but also, in many cases, the enjoyment of individual lives.

The team, working closely with anti- social behaviour officers and Cheshire Police, have been dealing with incidents from intimidating behaviour, actual damage to property and homes and thefts from gardens, to low level ASB such as parking issues, dog fouling, graffiti, smashed glass and even overgrown gardens.

While many of these issues cannot be directly resolved by the team – they will always know who can and are happy to liaise with partner agencies on your behalf, to get things done.

Over the coming months, the Our Place team will focus heavily on community safety issues throughout the neighbourhood which are most in need, and will produce literature in order to raise awareness, as well as action plans to resolve them.

For more information on these planned works or if you wish to report any incidents, call the Community Safety Wardens on the ASB Hotline 0300 123 7033. Alternatively, contact the non-emergency police team on 0845 458 0000.
