AN ELLESMERE Port nursery school has received a national award for its commitment to the health and well-being of its staff.
The Little Acorns Nursery Group, based in Stanlaw Abbey Children’s Centre, Ellesmere Port, was commended for its contribution to the welfare of its employees, by receiving a Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace award.
Provided by healthcare provider Simplyhealth, the Healthy Workplace awards recognise the contribution that UK organisations in both the private and public sector make to the well-being of employees.
Winners of the award provide employees with a range of initiatives and benefits that help to keep their workforce motivated and healthy.
Linda Irlam, human resource manager of the Little Acorns Group, said they were ‘delighted’ to have won the award.
