Ten-year-old Jade Gratrix from Ellesmere Port was crowned Little Miss Crown and Glory North West at an event held at the town’s Holiday Inn.

The event was held in aid of the Dean Puplett Appeal to raise money for a little boy from Flintshire, North Wales, who is fighting neuroblastoma cancer.

Jade was also crowned Little Miss Charity for raising the most money for the fund.

She organised a raffle and had nine inches cut off her hair-raising £200.
