THE following defendants were all convicted of drink driving at Vale Royal Magistrates Court on Thursday:
James Sandles, 58, was arrested outside his home at Navigation Road, Northwich on December 19 after being followed by police and failing a breath test. He was three times over the limit and has been banned for three years and ordered to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work in the community.
Sales rep Frederick Haslehurst, 23, of Albert Place, Northwich was banned for 12 months and fined £200 after admitting drink driving on December 16.
Warrington man Jonathan Whitlow was banned for two years and fined £300 after pleading guilty to drink driving on December 9. He was caught on the Northwich bypass and arrested after providing a positive breath test.The court heard he was nearly three times over the limit.
Spencer Lewis, 36, of Cross Street, Marston was disqualified for three years and made the subject of a supervision order. He will be electronically tagged and subject to a curfew after admitting being more than three times over the limit on December 21.
Stephen Williams, 47, of Penrhyn Road, Northwich, was twice over the limit when he was stopped by police on December 22. He was fined £450 and banned from the road for 20 months.
