BOSS Brian Coyne believes his Aberystwyth Town side are more than capable of claiming a top-six Welsh Premier finish.
The Black and Greens are currently lying in ninth, but their fine 3-1 win at Llanelli in their last outing 10 days ago has shown their potential.
They face a tricky trip to Europe hopefuls Carmarthen Town tonight, but will be looking to keep up the good work they showed at Stebonheath Park.
“We’re ninth at the moment, but we now need to show that we’re a better side than that in the coming games,” said Coyne.
“The boys were flying after the Llanelli game, and if we can reproduce that we’ve got every chance of getting something.
“It’s been frustrating that we’ve had to wait for our next game, but we now need to string a run of results together.
“If we can do that, it will put us in the mix for the top six.”
Striker Danny Barton is a doubt after straining his knee while playing for Llangefni while Glyndwr Hughes faces a fitness test after missing the Llanelli outing.
