AN incentive card to shop locally goes on a tour of the town this month.
Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Charisma Card team set up at Ellesmere Port Market to raise awareness for the card to local businesses and residents. The team is manning the community stall at the market on Thursday afternoons during August.
Several businesses in Ellesmere Port are already members of the scheme, including Shirley’s Hair Accessories, Blushes-UK and Ace of Pentacles in the Market, Big Bills Bikes, Terry & Co Hairdressing, Iceni Hair & Beauty Ltd, Supercuts, Nigel Hughes Ltd, Cruzeclothing, Port Auto Sales, Taxassist Accountants, Blue Planet Aquarium and The National Waterways Museum.
The Charisma Card is free, offering discounts and incentives to shop locally at more than 290 businesses in Cheshire West including restaurants, salons and stores.
It is free for businesses to join and there are more than 40,000 card holders in Cheshire West.
Charisma produces a monthly e-newsletter highlighting the latest offers, new businesses joining plus competitions. One card is available free for every household in Cheshire West.
