HUNDREDS of youngsters enjoyed a weekend of non-stop action at the first ever Arley Pumpkin Games.
More than 500 visitors descended on Arley Hall and Gardens, near Northwich, on Saturday and Sunday, October 25 and 26, for its Hallowe’en spectacular.
Children from across the county defied the bad weather to take part in games and competitions, including pumpkin shot put and pumpkin hoop-la.
Youngsters also enjoyed traditional Hallowe’en activities, such as a ghost hunt around Arley’s gardens, face painting and apple bobbing.
Event organiser Helen Glover said: “The children had a great time taking part in all the activities, while parents were able to take in the beautiful grounds of Arley.”
