A CHESTER hairdresser is riding the recession by expanding the services offered.

A CHESTER hairdresser is riding the recession by expanding the services offered.

Dimitri Ferdinand in Commonhall Street now has beauty and nail technician, Jennie Grimes.

The 24-year-old said: “I rent the space so it’s really flexible – as long as I get enough notice I can even open the shop late.”

Jennie also offers facial waxing and tinting, and is hoping to be the first salon in Chester to provide one of Hollywood’s hottest trends, a solid and smudge-resistant nail covering called Minx which has been seen on stars like Beyoncé.
