WREXHAM'S Football in the Community initiative was given a boost by a local business.
Dragons defender Dennis Lawrence was on hand when Lindop Brothers of Wrexham and Mold handed over the keys for two new Toyota Yaris cars.
The vehicles will be used to provide transport for coaches and players as they travel to schools in the area for soccer activities.
Dennis said: "We all enjoy working with the kids.
"It has a lot of benefits, helping to get them involved in sporting activities and keeping them away from crime and drugs."
Mark Morris, Wrexham's community development officer and current goalkeeping coach, said: "They look great with the Wrexham livery, and take our image in the community to a more professional level, complementing the skill of our players and coaches."
Lindop Toyota managing director Steve Hopewell said: "As a local business we were eager to get involved with Wrexham's community coaching, and providing a couple of great cars to take them to sessions made sense for us both."
