LOVED-UP couples can celebrate Valentine’s Day with an intimate underwater dinner at the Blue Planet Aquarium.
The centre is offering an opportunity to demonstrate how deep their love is by holding a four-course meal in its underwater tunnel on Thursday, February 14.
Diners will be surrounded by sharks, rays and hundreds of tropical reef fish as they enjoy their evening, which will include a welcome drink in the aquatheatre and a Valentine-themed presentation by aquarists highlighting examples of love beneath the waves.
Blue Planet catering manager Jason Holden said: “The underwater tunnel is a truly spectacular Valentine’s venue and has got to be the most unusual place to celebrate such a special occasion.”
The dinner costs £36 per person and couples need to call the aquarium on 0151 357 8804 to book a table. Numbers are limited to 16 couples and doors open at 7.15pm on Thursday, February 14.
