THREE martial arts experts from a Flintshire Thai boxing club are celebrating after receiving their black belts.
Connah's Quay's Karl Edwards and Denbighshire pair Chris Carrington and Paul Blackborrow, have been rewarded for years of hard work and dedication according to their coach Mike Thomas.
Mike, who runs the Mike Thomas Thai Boxing Club in Flint, Connah's Quay and Ho-lywell said: 'They have each been training three times a week for the past five years minimum to gain their belts.
'They are a credit and ambassadors to the sport. We have perhaps six more who will be ready for their black belts in the next six months or so. But these three lads have worked incredibly hard to get where they are and we are all thrilled for them.'
