BEER enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a plethora of real ales from across the globe during a three-week festival starting tomorrow, Wednesday, at a Winsford pub.
The ales on offer at The Queens Arms, on Dene Drive, have been sourced from brewers in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Germany, Holland, New Zealand and the USA.
And they will be available for 20 days at knockdown prices, alongside a host of popular beers from all over the UK.
The award-winning ales and speciality, seasonal and fruit beers will be on offer at a credit crunch-busting £1.59 a pint until Monday, May 4.
Pub manager Matthew Lathbury said: “The festival will give people the opportunity to enjoy a superb selection of UK and international beers at The Queens Arms.
“The majority of the beers on offer have not been available in the pub before, and I am looking forward to serving them.
“The festival promises to be great fun and I am certain my customers will enjoy themselves.”
The UK beers will include Raspberry Fool (Caledonian); Nosey Parker (Robinsons); Silver Adder (Mauldons); Sting in the Tail (Arundel), Hunny Trap (Skinners), Spin Doctor (Hydes) and Hopping Mad (JW Lees).
Epic Pale Ale (New Zealand), Yukon Lead Dog Ale (Canada), Flying Dutchman Witbier (Holland) and Palm Steenbrugge Blond (Belgium), amongst others, will help give the festival a distinctly international flavour.
Customers will be able to sample any three of the real ales in special third-of-a-pint glasses for the price of a pint, and tasting notes on all of the beers will be available in the pub.
