JOHNSTOWN residents have raised concerns about motorcyclists riding in Bonc y Hafod Country Park.
Johnstown Councillor Dave Bithell says there are on-going problems of bikers using an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and complaints have flooded in from residents in respect of excessive noise.
He said: 'One resident complained he could not hear his television because the noise was that loud. The police now have new powers to firstly warn and then apprehend offenders under a new Police Reform Act and they can seize a vehicle.
'Only recently three local riders were caught in the park and were issued with a warning about their anti-social behaviour.'
Cllr Bithell says he is urging residents to report instances to the police, to help ensure people can enjoy the facilities at the country park.
