AIR cadets have graduated from the toughest leadership course available with flying colours.

Two cadets from Ellesmere Port’s 1074 Squadron passed the gruelling junior leaders course.

From more than 130 cadets who started the course in 2008, just 61 completed test week in April this year. Cadet Flight Sergeant Jai Dillon and Instructor Cadet Flight Sergeant Jamie Moores from Ellesmere Port were among those successful, becoming the only cadets at 1074 Squadron to have become qualified junior leaders since the course started 10 years ago.

Warrant Officer Anna Jackson from 1074 said: “We are very proud of our flight sergeants.

“The course is an incredibly tough course and I am so impressed at their ability to complete the course while also doing exams and school work.”
