A woman has been flown to hospital after being involved in a collision with a 4x4 in Chester .
Emergency services were called to Blacon Avenue near to the Blacon Roundabout at 12.41pm on Tuesday (August 30).
The car involved in the accident was towing a trailer.
North West Ambulance Service said a rapid response vehicle was sent out and the woman had suffered ‘back injuries’.
The air ambulance was called out and landed in a field close to Chester canal before it took her to Aintree Hospital.
A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: “We were alerted to an incident where a woman had been in collision with a 4x4 which was carrying a trailer.
“Officers were dispatched to the scene in Blacon Avenue. The air ambulance was called out to take the casualty to hospital.”
