A COUPLE whose love of the tango brought them together is now offering dance classes.
Romance started for Anthony, 39, and Alexandra Davis, 40, on a dancing holiday in Greece.
Anthony has been teaching the tango for years at The Groves Bistro and Bar on Souters Lane. He would also regularly teach on dance holidays abroad. On a holiday last year he met Alexandra and their whirlwind romance began.
Anthony said: “I proposed within a week and we were married in Chester this April at the register office. We had a tango themed reception at The Groves.”
The couple, have now returned from an extended honeymoon travelling the world to begin their classes again.
Anthony said: “Within The Groves they have just opened a little Argentinian themed restaurant called La Boca and Alex and I will be dancing there most Saturdays.”
The couple have set up their own business and will use dance for corporate team building and related events - their website is www.carryondancing.co.uk.
Anthony said: “We are already lined up to do tango and salsa workshops for a number of companies leading up to their Christmas parties and have a few really good product launch jobs lined up.”
Their tango classes are on Wednesday at 8pm at the Groves Bistro and Bar and at 8pm on Tuesday at Sandinos Restaurant and Wine Bar, Crewe Road, Sandbach.
