WEST Cheshire College’s Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) service ‘more than meets the standard’ for Matrix accreditation, following a recent assessment.

The Matrix Standard is the national quality standard for any organisation that delivers information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work and all organisations with the Standard have to be regularly reviewed to maintain it.

Assistant Principal Ian Rimmington said: "Matrix is really important to us because it demonstrates that people coming to West Cheshire College will get the best advice available to help them choose a course that meets their individual needs.

"The report also praised our ‘learner centred culture’ which is a great reflection on the staff who deliver IAG."
