WEAVER VALE 1.19AM: Weaver Vale turnout confirmed at 66.3% - 9% up on 2005

RETURNING officer Noel O'Neil has confirmed a 66.3% turn out in Weaver Vale a massive increase on the last Election turn out.

A total of 44,140 votes, more than 9% more than in 2005, will begin to be counted at about 1.45am.

64.8% voted in the polling stations across the constituency and 78.8% recorded postal votes.
