FORMER Vikings chairman Stephen Vaughan has revealed he has had no offers for his majority share in the Vikings.
Rumours circulating the town this week suggested that Mr Vaughan had already had a buyer lined up.
But he has confirmed to the Weekly News that the talk is 'totally unfounded'.
He said: 'I haven't had any offers for the club. I have already said that the existing board members have first refusal on the club, but so far nobody has got in touch.
'The situation is still the same as it was last week. But people must understand that there is an issue of shares and the issue of the investment that I have put in.
´I will offer it to the directors, but then if I don't hear anything then I am willing to listen elsewhere. Once that goes on then I will be able to fill the fans in on the full picture and the reasons why I did what I did.'
