Latest figures, which cover the period from July-September, demonstrate how unemployment rates in Halton have decreased, edging closer toward the North West average.
Figures show an unemployment reduction rate of 196 in Halton, from 2,595 to 2,399.
While the North West unemployment average for the September period is 2.7%, Halton has a figure of 3.3%.
Halton has 1,784 men and 615 women out of work, with Castlefields recording the highest number of jobless in Runcorn at 6.6%, and Kingsway topping the list in Widnes at 4.6%.
