PEOPLE in Cuddington are being given the chance to help design and shape a new part of their village community.
Bovis Homes is holding a two-day exhibition this week outlining its proposals for the area of land at Golden Nook Farm, which has outline planning permission for 150 new homes.
“We have been developing exciting plans to create a sustainable neighbourhood of quality new homes and landscaped public open spaces that will be sympathetic to the village,” said Bovis Homes regional technical manager Barry Herrod.
“Now we are aiming to refine those proposals with input from Cuddington residents to ensure the scheme is in keeping with the needs and aspirations of the local community.
At this stage the proposed new development will incorporate a broad mix of housing, ranging from two and three bedroom properties ideal for first-time buyers through to larger five bedroom family homes.
The exhibition will be at Cuddington Primary School today (Thursday), from 2-9pm and tomorrow (Friday) from 9am-2pm.
Members of the Bovis Homes team will be on hand to answer questions and visitors will be encouraged to fill in feedback forms with their comments and ideas.
A website is being developed at www.bovishomes.co.uk/cuddington which will go live after the exhibition and will also offer the opportunity to supply feedback. Those not able to attend on either of the two days can email the project email address at firstname.lastname@example.org and request a copy of the exhibition boards and a feedback form.
