A THIEF has stolen two watches valued at about £5,000 from a city centre jewellery store.
The lone offender stole the watches from the Beaverbrooks shop on Eastgate Street, Chester, at about 12.50pm yesterday.
Cheshire Police spokesperson Shelley Williams said: “The man asked to view some watches and consquently stole two running away from the shop.
“The offendor is described as a black male, aged about 30-years-old, about 5’8” tall, and was wearing jeans, a tracksuite top and a base ball cap.”
