YOUNG people with additional needs were treated to a day of sports and activities thanks to students at West Cheshire College.
Sports students volunteered to take part in the multi-sports day, which was organised to give students from Dee Banks Special School, Mid-Cheshire College and West Cheshire who are aged between 16 and 19 and have disabilities to try out new sports alongside their able-bodied peers.
Further Education Sports co-ordinator Nick Meakins said: "Part of my role is to provide sporting enrichment to all students at the College, whether they are able bodied or have additional needs.
"Our sports students volunteered their time to ensure our visitors could experience a range of sporting activities – both new ones and old favourites.
"Throughout the day we laid on sessions for adapted sports like Boccia, as well as mainstream favourites like volleyball and basketball."
