IT’S the last chance for visitors to get their skates on at Chester Zoo’s Frost Fair this weekend.
The winter wonderland’s last day is Sunday and visitors are being urged to make the most of an action-packed weekend.
The two-month event in the zoo grounds has been the perfect place to chill out with entertainment, animation, costume characters and more – including the magnificent rink which has been a hit since it opened in November.
Sharon Leeson, the zoo’s head of marketing and development, said: “Sadly, Frost Fair draws to a close on Sunday so this weekend is the last opportunity for people to join us for some fun on the ice – at least until later this year when we start all over again!
“That said, we are geared up for another fantastic year with a whole range of events planned over the coming months.
“We have the Orchid Festival to look forward to in just under a month’s time and people who can’t make it this weekend can come back any time and see what we have in store.”
