HOLLYOAKS actress Sarah Jayne Dunn appears in the new Batman movie The Dark Knight.
Sarah, 26, plays the saucy mistress of crimelord Salvatore Maroni, played by Eric Roberts, 52.
She played the part while on a break from Chester-based soap Hollyoaks after 10 years of being “Mandy Richardson” but has now returned to the take up the role once again.
Sarah, who lives in Liverpool, is a huge fan of Batman star Christian Bale, 34, who was this week in the headlines after being arrested over an alleged assault on his mother and sister.
She said: “I think he is the best Batman that there has ever been and it was an absolute pleasure working with him.
“I was starstruck by the whole experience – it was incredible, I loved it.”
Fans saw Sarah’s character Mandy walk away from Hollyoaks in 2006 after losing her child to cot death.
She recently came back for her brother Max’s wedding but Max tragically died on what was supposed to be his special day, leaving Mandy to look after her younger brother Tom who had lived with Max.
