MOTORISTS can have their say on improvements to the local road network.
Cheshire County Council is holding a series of roadside interviews with motorists later this month.
A sample of vehicles will be stopped and drivers asked questions concerning their journey.
Chiefs admit the surveys could cause some delay in traffic movement and drivers are asked to show 'patience, understanding and tolerance' during the exercise.
Programme officer Jane Coslett said: 'The information obtained from these surveys is vital to the planning of the area's future transport requirements.
'While we understand drivers' frustrations at delays, avoiding the area will only result in an inaccurate collection of traffic data. 'In the longer term, this could affect decisions that are made about future improvements on the local highway network.'
