GIRLS from The Queen’s Lower School have enjoyed a weekend of team building.

The Year 4 pupils spent the weekend at Kingswood Centre near Hexham in Northumberland.

The youngsters explored the ruins of Housestead’s Roman Fort and walked a stretch of Hadrian’s Wall.

They took part in team building activities such as a scrapheap challenge and conquered outdoor obstacles like zip wires and a 3G swing.

Headteacher Felicity Taylor said: “All of the girls challenged themselves to go higher, faster and quicker and worked tremendously hard to support each other and develop their team spirit.”
