BROXTON Post Office is to reopen next month.
The service in Sherrington Lane closed temporarily from May 29 when sub- postmaster Cynthia Stant retired.
Services will resume in the area with the provision of an outreach service at Brown Knowl Methodist Church, Sherrington Lane, on Wednesday, September 24.
Field change adviser Sarah Sampson said: “We apologise for the inconvenience this temporary closure has undoubtedly caused but I’m sure the local community will be delighted that Post Office services will shortly be available again in Broxton.”
The new branch, which will be open on Wednesdays from 1.30-3.30pm, will offer the same range of services, as well as vehicle tax renewal.
