CHESTER Summer Music Festival has announced the full line up for its first ever Pop in the Park concert in Chester's Grosvenor Park on Friday, July 30.

Pop in the Park will feature top pop acts including Jamelia and Liberty X. Joining them will be Irish heartthrobs D-Side, former Steps star Lee Latchford-Evans and his band The Latch, as well as Pop Rivals stars Phixx and Daniel Pearce.

James Fox has had to pull out due to commitments overseas entertaining our troops and will be replaced by So Solid Crew member Romeo.

Belfast boys D-Side are set to please Chester audiences as they perform hits Speechless, Invisible and Pushing Me Out.

Chester-born Lee Latchford-Evans enjoyed worldwide success as a member of Brit award winners Steps, selling 12 million records.

He comes to the Grosvenor Park with his new band The Latch.

So Solid Member and star of The Games, Romeo, has supported hip hop legend Ja Rule and duetted with Christina Milian.

CHESHIRE Wildlife Trust is inviting everyone to unleash their creative sides at the 11th Only One Earth environmental arts day at Grosvenor Park in Chester, this Sunday.

The whole family can try their hand at a range of fun arts activities including textile workshops, wood carving and birdbox-making.

Budding young artists have the chance to see their work in print by entering a competition to design the poster for the Only One Earth Event 2005.

The winners will receive some great prizes from Chester Zoo, Manchester United and the Cheshire Cat Restaurant. The winning design will also be on the CWT website.

A wildlife on your doorstep procession involving eight Chester primary schools will be another highlight.

The event is free, open to all and takes place between 11am and 5pm.

A HANDBAG of Harmonies, the all-women jazz/blues choir led by Matt Baker, are appearing at this year's Chester Fringe Festival as part of the funday on Sunday.

The choir will perform in Grosvenor Park at 12.30pm, and later on at the Bandstand on the river at 2pm.
