POLICE are urging witnesses to come forwards after a HGV collided with a moped in Chester.
At about 4:55am on July 18 a moped was riding along Grosvenor Road when a HGV cab pulled out of Castle Drive and collided with it.
The HGV cab driver failed to stop at the scene of the accident, leaving the moped driver in the road with injuries to his hand and food.
Police are now appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident to come forwards. They particularly want to speak to the member of the public who stopped to help the injured rider.
Anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 142 of July 18.
