Detectives in Chester are appealing for witnesses following an assault that occurred near to Overleigh Road roundabout, Chester.
At around 8.30pm on Monday 6th July, the victim who is a 37 year old local woman, was approached from behind and assaulted, causing her to fall unconscious. As a result, she received significant injuries to her face and eye.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this assault, or who saw anyone behaving suspiciously in the area, or to anyone who has any information that may assist Police with their enquiry, to contact DC Helen Tennyson at Chester CID on 0845 458 0000 or alternatively information may be left anonymously with Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
