LONDON 2012 Olympic gold medallist Tom James visited the Panasonic store in Chester to collect his Smart Viera TV.
Panasonic, official audio visual equipment partner of the Olympic Games, is giving each gold medallist from the London 2012 Olympics a television in recognition of their achievements.
Once in-store, the athletes can also choose additional Panasonic products up to a certain value or upgrade the size of their TV.
Tom, who won gold at London 2012 in the men’s four, chose his TV at the Chester store in situated on Bridge Street Row.
Tom, who learned to row at The King’s School in Chester, said: “I’m thrilled with my new Panasonic TV and can't wait for it to be delivered - it's going to make a great early Christmas present!”
Tom’s father, Mike, who coached him from an early age and still coaches at the King’s School, also visited the store where he received a Panasonic camcorder.
