Cheshire’s Favourite Days Out network is making it easier for families to save money and enjoy great days out at top attractions across the county.
From stately homes, botanic gardens and model villages to nuclear bunkers, tree-top walks and an interactive science museum, there is something to suit everyone’s tastes.
Offers also include the chance for one under 12-year-old child to go free to any of Chester Storyhouse’s summer open air performances, providing they are accompanied by a paying adult. Three-for-one attraction Tatton Park near Knutsford is giving those who visit Tatton Farm the chance of getting into the neo-classical mansion and 50-acres of award-winning gardens at no extra cost. This ‘three attractions for the price of one’ offer is available throughout the summer.
Go Ape offers a 10% discount to explorers of the forest canopy on its thrilling tree-top rope course.
Northwich’s Cathedral of the Canals, the Anderton Boat Lift, is offering 25% off two or more fully-priced boat trips. This is a chance to floated through the air from river to canal on this outstanding piece of Victorian engineering or alternatively enjoy a trip along the picturesque River Weaver.
The spectacular model village at Port Sunlight, Wirral, is offering two-for-one entry to its museum. The exhibition tells the story of this extraordinary village – the vision of Lord Lever - founder of the worldwide company, Unilever.
The same offer applies to Norton Priory at Runcorn. The newly refurbished museum with its delightful 18th century walled garden, tranquil woodland and artefacts from its 900-year history also offers a varied programme of summer fun for children including a medieval weekend on Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19.
