Nick Crawshaw sexually assaulted a schoolgirl at a sleepover, a court was told.
The 23-year-old allegedly grabbed his victim’s hand and forced it down his trousers.
Crawshaw, of West Street, Hoole, denies six counts of rape, three of sexual assault and two charges of assault by penetration between 2010 and 2012 from eight alleged victims.
The fourth complainant in the trial at Warrington Crown Court gave evidence on Wednesday (October 5).
She attended a gathering at her friend’s house along with Crawshaw and one of his mates in July or August of 2012.
The woman was not sure if there was any alcohol involved.
She said: “Nick was insinuating we should go upstairs and have sex throughout the night.
“He kept persisting, but I didn’t want to do anything. We all slept downstairs in the living room.
“In the morning I went into the kitchen and Nick followed me in and wouldn’t let me leave. He tried to get me to go upstairs again and I said I didn’t want to.
“He grabbed my hand and put it down his pants.”
After managing to get past Crawshaw into the living room, she didn’t mention it to anyone as she thought it would be ‘awkward’ to do it in front of the others while he was also there.
Mark Le Brocq, defending, suggested Crawshaw’s insinuation they have sex and the alleged assault never happened.
He said: “It’s not true is it? Nick was actually more interested in your friend.
“This is a something you’ve made up to try to help your friend with their allegation.”
The complainant denied this.
She added: “I was aware that he was a bit older than me and there wasn’t anyone in the room to stop it.
“I was shocked and scared, I wanted to get back to my friend.
“I thought he might force me to go upstairs with him. I felt he had abused my trust.”
The complainant confirmed she was friends with three other alleged victims in the case, but denied making her allegations up to support their cases.
Crawshaw denies all the charges against him.
Judge Tina Landale is presiding over the trial, which is expected to last about three weeks.
The trial at Warrington Crown Court continues.
