Motrorcyclist injured in collision with car in Chester

A FEMALE motorcyclist from Saltney was injured when her Kawasaki bike was in collision with a car in Chester on Wednesday night (August 4).

A FEMALE motorcyclist from Saltney was injured when her Kawasaki bike was in collision with a car in Chester on Wednesday night (August 4).

The incident happened on Liverpoool Road and was reported to police at about 9.45pm.

The rider was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the other vehicle, a Vauxhall corsa, was not hurt in the collision.

The road was closed from between Brook Lane and the Morrisons supermarket while the incident was cleared up, and was reopened at 11.30pm.
