Commuters faced delays on the M56 this morning (Thursday), following a minor road traffic collision.
Police were called to the eastbound carriageway of the motorway near Hapsford at around 7.30am, after reports that two vans were involved in a smash.
No stretches of road were closed but the incident caused congestion as traffic backed up on the motorway. However, after one of the drivers, a 39-year-old man from North Wales was taken to hospital with minor injuries, the scene was cleared and normal activity has since been resumed.
